Adel-DeSoto-Minburn finished third in the team chase and qualified four wrestlers for state, while Woodward-Granger qualified two and West Central Valley one.
DC-G, A-D-M and W-G each had two champions, while the Mustangs amassed 105 points in winning the team title. Atlantic was second with 95, while A-D-M finished third with 68 points. Woodward-Granger was seventh (37.5) and West Central Valley wound up ninth (24).
The Mustangs' Trevor Voelker, ranked No. 1 in the state at 189 pounds, and 103-pounder Pryce Creighton both took individual titles.
For A-D-M, Dakota Friesth won at 152 pounds, while Colby Oberembt avenged a loss in sectionals by winning the 160-pound title.
Woodward-Granger's Bo Cosens (125) and Jack Manning (171) both came away with district titles.
Also advancing to state for DC-G with runner-up district finishes were David Kellogg (140), James Armstrong (215) and Zach Bauer (heavyweight).
Runners-up for A-D-M were Keegan Mumma (125) and Alex Reams (189).
West Central Valley's Kendall Davis finished second at 130 pounds to earn his third straight state meet berth.
A-D-M coach Andy Fecht feels good about his team's chances for place finishes in all four weight classes.
"We feel pretty good about our chances," Fecht said. "If we could do that, we could sneak into the top 10 in the team points, which would be great for our program.
"One of our goals since the beginning of the season is to finish among the top 10. And, it feels good to know that three of our state qualifiers and three other district qualifiers will be back next year."
Fecht praised Oberembt for his work in winning the district title.
"He stepped up in a big way," Fecht said. "In the first round he pinned one of the top-ranked kids from Red Oak and he in the finals he won a crazy 17-12 match against the Dallas Center-Grimes kid (Bret Nyquist), who had beaten him three times this season.
"I believe that if Colby comes to wrestle, he can beat anybody in the state in his weight class."
Friesth also drew praise from his coach.
"He just continues to dominate his weight class," Fecht said. "He didn't have a close match in either the sectional or the district and I firmly believe he's one of the top three kids at 152 in the entire state."
Fecht also noted that Mumma "continues to improve every time he steps on the mat."
"I'm very confident that he is capable of becoming a place winner at state," Fecht said of the freshman.
Reams was forced again to wrestle against the state's No. 1-ranked Voelker.
"Alex had a great day in beating a tough opponent from Red Oak," Fecht said. "Alex didn't make any mistakes and did exactly what he had to do to win."
Fecht was most disappointed for 135-pounder Kyle Wallace, who finished third.
"I'm just heart-broken for Kyle no being able to qualify for state this year," he said. "He has worked hard all year and wanted it very badly."
Wallace lost a close match in the finals and fell again in a close match in the wrestleback for position.
Also for the Tigers, Sam Cook finished fourth at 112, Dalton Peshel was fourth at 215 and Ben Sande finished fourth at heavyweight.
Woodward-Granger's Cosens won his opening round match by technical fall over Kyle Auffert of Creston, then beat A-D-M's Mumma, 5-3, in the finals.
Manning took first with a pair of pins.
He turned Dustin Morrison of Creston in 1:48 to open competition, then pinned Jim Swanson of Atlantic in the finals, also in 1:48.
"The guys continued to wrestle well and are looking pretty tough," said W-G coach Karol Field. "It was good to see Bo get back points against Mumma to win that on - it was a tough match and pretty much touch-and-go.
"Manning looked very impressive with two first period pins," Field said.
West Central Valley coach Jason Kimbrough had mixed emotions about his wrestlers' performances.
Although Davis got through to state, Hunter Wagner was eliminated.
"I'm disappointed, but pleased at the same time," he said. "I was optimistic that Hunter could come out and get that first win, but I knew the chances of a wrestleback were slim if he lost.
"Still, getting third at districts as a freshman is a nice accomplishment."
The Class 2A portion of the state meet begins at 9 a.m. today (Thursday), with quarterfinals and first-round wrestlebacks following.
