The Mid-Iowa and Ames calendars are resources available to area groups holding events for community members. School plays, campus concerts, church holiday programs, team fund-raisers and the like are welcome, but the calendar is not for advertising a business activity.

Be sure to include: » The name of the event
» The time, day and date of the event.
» The location of the event - with street address and building name. Be sure to type in the town name - the calendar assumes you mean Ames, so double-check!
» How a potential participant can get more information - a phone number, e-mail address or Web site
» Who can attend - is this event for kids of a certain age? Adults only? Families?
» Admission charge
» Who or what group is sponsoring the event
» If this is a fund-raiser, who or what group will benefit from the event?
